CLOSE ZOOS

Activism

Humankind was forced to live under lockdown, facing mental and physical consequences.

But there are many other species that men have held in lockdown for longer.

The strategy seize the moment to make human empathize with other species.

We believe that the effects of lockdown experienced by people will help them feel empathy for animals in confinement on zoos all over the world.

Zoos emerged in the early IX century for people from the cities to have contact and be amused by wildlife.

An outdated kind of entertainment that still exists today. It relies on the exploitation of other species; this kind of business encourages animal trafficking around the globe, it must be banned, and the institutions that promote it hold accountable.

We hope this encourages the system to change the mentality that sees animals as entertainment.
