LIVE FROM THE UPSIDE DOWN

 Client: Doritos + Netflix

Music was one of the main elements that made Stranger Things season 4 so great, bringing many artists from the 80s back into the spotlight and making them popular again, especially with younger audiences.

That's why, to launch the partnership between Doritos and Stranger Things 4, we came up with the idea of hosting the most ambitious concert of all time: Live from the Upside Down.

Live from the Upside Down.

The event started with a teaser raising many intriguing questions:

Where did all the one-hit wonder bands from the 80s go?

Why haven’t we heard from them?

And why did they disappear at the highest point of their musical careers?

We crafted a storyline about a typical 80s music festival, the Doritos Music Fest '86, which was mysteriously cancelled after passing through a little town in Indiana called Hawkins.

The artists on the lineup were never seen again.

Then we set up a time and date to bring the festival back to life from where the bands had been throughout all that time: The Upside Down.

The only condition was: To gain access to the concert, you had to buy a pack of Doritos.
